The Java Programming course offered at NIMACT is having the latest curriculum related to object oriented programming and enterprise application development, with the view to preparing software developers for catering to the IT, Banking, Telecom, E-commerce and Enterprise Software Industry in India. The curriculum and the study materials are revised and updated every six months for the inclusion of the latest Java versions, features, coding practices and AI assisted learning methods. Accordingly assistance and advice are sought on a continuing basis from the industry for knowing and assessing their requirements.

Java holds a position that no other language has managed to take. It is not the newest language, it is not the shortest, and it is not the trendiest - yet the moment an organization needs software that will handle real money, real records and real load for the next fifteen years, Java is usually the answer. Banking cores, insurance platforms, stock exchanges, telecom billing, railway systems, government portals and large e-commerce backends run on Java. These systems are maintained and extended for decades, which is why a Java developer's job stays secure long after the trend of the year has passed.

The second strength of Java is that it teaches a programmer to be disciplined. Java checks types at compile time, forces a structure on every program, handles memory automatically through garbage collection, and makes exception handling a formal part of the code.
