COURSE DETAILS

The PHP MySQL Web Development course offered at NIMACT is having the latest curriculum related to server side web programming and database driven application development, with the view to preparing web developers for catering to the IT, E-commerce, Education and Software Industry in India. The curriculum and the study materials are revised and updated every six months for the inclusion of the latest PHP versions, security practices, framework trends and AI assisted development methods. Accordingly assistance and advice are sought on a continuing basis from the industry for knowing and assessing their requirements.

There is a big difference between a website and a web application. A simple website only shows information. A web application remembers the user, stores his data, checks his password, shows him his own records and lets an admin control everything from a panel. School portals, shop billing sites, admission systems, complaint systems and online stores are all web applications. PHP with MySQL is the shortest and cheapest road to building them, and that is exactly what this course teaches.

PHP holds a special position in the Indian market. Hosting is cheap and available everywhere, shared hosting supports PHP by default, and a small client can afford the running cost. WordPress, which powers a very large share of the world's websites, is written in PHP, so PHP knowledge also opens the whole WordPress and plugin market. For a student who wants local clients along with company jobs, no other backend language gives this much reach at this low a cost.

Security is treated as a core subject in this course, not as an extra topic. Login systems, payment related pages and admin panels are the exact places where websites get attacked. So the student is taught prepared statements, password hashing, input validation, session security and file upload safety as a normal part of writing code, not as something to add later. A developer who writes unsafe code loses the client on the first incident.

NIMACT runs on the model of AI > Programming Language (Coding) > Apps, and this course covers all three stages fully. In the AI stage, tools like ChatGPT, Claude AI, Gemini and Copilot are used to explain a concept such as session, join or prepared statement in simple words, to explain the meaning of a PHP or SQL error, and to review a database design before the student builds on it. In the Coding stage the student writes every page, every query and every login system by his own hand, because a copied authentication page is the first thing an attacker breaks. In the Apps stage the student builds complete web applications - a school website with admission and result, a shop site with product and order management, a blog with admin panel, and a billing system - and then buys or configures hosting, uploads the files, imports the database and takes the site live.

So many opportunities after this course. IT companies, web agencies, e-commerce firms, startups, schools, hospitals and local businesses need web developers, and the job profile will be PHP Developer, Web Developer, Backend Developer, Full Stack Trainee, WordPress Developer, Web Support Executive, Database Assistant etc. Self employment is equally strong. Every school, coaching centre, hospital, shop and trader in a town needs a website, and a trained student can deliver it end to end - design, coding, database, hosting and maintenance.

Who Should Attend: Students of BCA, MCA, B.Tech, Polytechnic and Diploma who need a live web project for their course and resume. Beginners who want to enter web development from the practical side. Computer literates who want to move from operating software to building websites. Business owners who want to understand and manage their own website, and freelancers who want to add web development to their services, as well.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Open to all. There is no minimum qualification for this course. Basic computer and internet handling is helpful, but the required fundamentals are covered from the beginning of the course.

Mode: Hybrid (Offline + Online + Live Doubt Session)
